Mario Sanzone
Mario Sanzone was born in Naples, 11 May 1946. The artist attended the Fine Art Academy in his native city, where he continued to live and work. On completing his education, he became a professional painter and he has since acquired an international reputation, taking part in many successful exhibitions in Italy, Europe and Northern America.
He is perhaps best known for his evocative evening portrayals of the old towns along the Amalfi coastline, which perfectly capture the richness and atmosphere of the Mediterranean exhibitions, both in Italy and abroad.
Sanzone has always received great acclaim from critics and public alike, especially for his luminous palette and original technique. Sanzone works are found in important private collections.
